Biographical data 

In Snake year [681] gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan and mGar Mang nyen stag tshab gathered the assembly in rGyas gyi lung rings (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 79-80). 

In Horse year [682] gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan and Mang zham stag tsab gathered the winter assembly at rTe'u mkhar (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 81-83). 

In Hog year [687] 'bon Da rgyal khri zung, gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan, and mGar sTa gu ri zung met (i.e. gathered the assembly ?) in bZang sum tsal (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 98-99). 

In the winter of Horse year [694-695] gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan gathered the assembly at Glagi pu chung with 'Bon da rgyal who died soon after (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 118). 

In the winter of Monkey year [696-697], gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan gathered the assembly at 'O bar tshal (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 124).

gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan is not mentioned by the Old Tibetan Annals after the disgrace of the mGar ministers (c. 695-699), under the reign of btsan po Khri 'Dus srong mang po rje
