Bo de sva tva was an Indian mkhan po in the time of Khri Srong lde brtsan (ms. ITJ 689 l. 2v4, PT 149 l. r7)

According to later chronicles the Za hor mkhan po Bo dhi sa tva Shandha rakshi ta was invited in the time of Khri Srong lde btsan (see among others Ne'u Pandita 2005 ed. p. 20, for a detailed account of the invitation see : dBa' bzhed 2010 ed. p. 10-20, transl. in Wangdu, Diemberger, Sørensen 2000 p. 40-53).

According to dBa' bzhed, Bo dhi sa tva was the son of the king of Zahor (dBa' bzhed 2010 p. 13, 39 transl. in Wangdu, Diemberger, Sørensen 2000 p. 42, 79).

Myang Sha mi, rGya, gNyags Bi ma la, and Ka ma la shi la were Bo dhi sa tva's disciples (dBa' bzhed 2010 ed. p. 39, transl. in Wangdu, Diemberger, Sørensen 2000 p. 80).

Bo dhi sa tva made the suggestion of inviting Pad ma sam bha ba to Tibet (dBa' bzhed 2010 ed. p. 20, transl. in Wangdu, Diemberger, Sørensen 2000 p. 52).
