Biographical data 

Myang Ting nge 'dzin's grand-father was sNang bzang 'dus kong (Zhva lha khang west l. 32-33). 

Myang Ting nge 'dzin's paternal uncle was dByi gong (Zhva lha khang west l. 54-55). 

As a child, the btsan po Khri lDe srong brtsan was raised by the ban de (monk) Myang Ting nge 'dzin who acted as a father and a mother (yab yum inscr. Zhva lha khang west l. 5-6). 

The ban de Myang Ting nge 'dzin managed to end internal turmoil by his useful advices [c. 800] (inscr. Zhva lha khang west l. 12-13).

Notes 

According to the sNgon gi gtam me tog 'phreng ba (XIIIth c.), Nyang ting 'dzin bzang po was Nyang Sha myi go cha's elder brother (see Ne'u Pandita 2005 ed. p. 27, see also Sørensen 1994 p. 416).

Nyang ting 'dzin bzang po built the lha khang of Klu shos zhva and Grog (Ne'u Pandita 2005 ed. p. 27).
