Notes

Da rgyal is thought to be the title or the family name of the rulers of Dags po (see Dotson 2009 p. 35 and Uebach 1997 p. 61, following Uray 1963, see references to "sPu rgyal", "Da rgyal" and "rKong rgyal" and to "Dar rgyal sProg zin" in ms. ITJ 734 l. 4r125, 8r335).

'bon Da rgyal Khri zung was likely the husband of btsan mo Khri mo stengs who was sent to rule the Dags territory in Rat year [688]. He may also have been Da rgyal bTsan zung's father (See Uebach 1997 p. 61).
