Notes

According to dBa' bzhed, "Pa 'or Na 'dod" was the father of Bee ro tsa na (see dBa' gsal snang 2010 ed. p. 33, and Wangdu, Diemberger, Sørensen 2000 p. 70).

He is likely to be identified to the character named sPa gor Her 'dod / sPa gor He 'dod / Pa gor He 'dod, etc. who is said to have fathered Bee ro tsa na with his [wife ?] Bran ka bza' sGron skyid (see Sang rgyas gling pa, 2007 ed. p. 262-263, 279, U rgyan gling pa's Padma bka' thang 1996 ed. p. 407, mKhas pa lDe'u 2010 p. 289).

See also the [bon po] scholar Ba gor Dod de rgyal ba whose name can be compared to that of Pa gor Na 'dod / Pa gor He 'dod but does seem to be a different character (see among others sGa ston tshul khrims rgyal mtshan's bsTan pa'i shan 'byed 'phrul gyi me long, p. 29).
