Biographical data 

In Snake year [681] mGar Mang nyen stag tsab and gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan gathered the assembly in rGyas gyi lung rings (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 79-80). 

In Bird year [685] mGar Mang nyen stag tsab and [his brother ?] mGar bTsan snya ldom bu were involved in a fratricide (? dme), resulting in mGar bTsan snya ldom bu's death (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 90-91).

Since mGar Mang nyen stag tsab may have been mGar bTsan snya ldom bu's brother, he could also be a son of mGar sTong rtsan yul zung (the Pulun / Bulun of the Jiu Tangshu and the Xin Tangshu ? see Pelliot 1961 p. 7, 85).
