The Indian mkhan po Pad ma Sam ba ba and Rlang dPal gyi seng ge subjugated in Tibet a group of seven female deities composed of rDo rje kun grags ma also known as rKong la de mo, rDo rje kun tu bzang a.k.a. Sha myed gangs dkar, rDo rje kun gsal ma a.k.a. lHa ri g.ya' ma skyol, rDo rje ye shes mchog a.k.a. bDa' la btsan mo, rDo rje sgron ma a.k.a. Kha rag khyung btsun, rDo rje 'od chags ma a.k.a. Byang gi gser tang yi ge 'khor 'dul ma, and rDo rje g.yu sgron ma a.k.a. lHo'i ting ting (ms. PT 307 l. II, III.1-6).

According to the Rlangs kyi po ti bse ru, the ru dpon dPal gyi seng ge was a son of "ru dpon" a.k.a. ru dpon sTag ra rgyal 'gong and a grand-son of rGyal gzigs ldang lha (Rlangs kyi po ti bse ru 1986 ed. p. 21-22). dPal gyi seng ge is thus seen as one of Su ga ta go cha's first cousins.
