Biographical data 

[At the time of the disgrace of the mGar family, c. 700, mNon] rGyal tsan snang grags (rgyal tshan ni snang grags) was mentioned in Khe rgad rGyal to re mdo snang 's song [as a follower of Khri 'Dus srong mang po rje (?)] (ms. PT 1287 l. 488). 

In Snake year [705, after the death of Khri 'Dus srong,] mNon sNang grags, together with [the (?)] lDeg ren pa' and  Khe rgad mDo snang  revolted [against the central authority (and was defeated and killed ?)] (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 150-152).

According to later Tibetan historians, gNon rGyal tshan snang grags was one of the blon po rtsal po che mi bdun of 'Dus srong mang po rje (see among others lDe'u jo sras 1987 ed. p. 119).
