'Bon da rgyal btsan zung and dBa's Khri gzigs zhang nyen gathered councils in Horse year [706], Sheep year [707], Hog year [711], Rat year [712] and Ox year [713] (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 157, 160-161, 179-181, 184-186, 188-189).
In Tiger year [714], 'bon Da rgyal bTsan zung and zhang bTsan to re lhas byin administrated the 'A zha people ('a zha'i mkhos bgyis) at Sil gu cin gyi 'o khol. Later in the same year, 'bon Da rgyal btsan zung and dBa's Khri gzigs zhang nyen led [Tibetan armies] to 'Bu shing kun (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 194-196).

Da rgyal is thought to be the title or the family name of the rulers of Dags po (see Dotson 2009 p. 35 and Uebach 1997 p. 61, following Uray 1963, see also references to "sPu rgyal", "Da rgyal" and "rKong rgyal" and to "Dar rgyal sProg zin" in ms. ITJ 734 l. 4r125, 8r335).
'Bon Da rgyal bTsan zung was possibly the son of 'bon Da rgyal Khri zung and btsan mo Khri mo stengs (see Uebach 1997 p. 61).
