Biographical data 

In the time of Khri Srong lde brtsan, jo mo rGyal mo brtsan was the mother (yum) of a son (sras) and offered a [first] bell (inscr. bSam yas bell). 

In the time of Khri lDe srong brtsan, she was known under the religious name of jo mo Byang chub and offered a [second] bell, casted by the Chinese monk Rin chen (inscr. Khra 'brug bell l. 10-12)

Notes 

Ne'u Pandita states that 'Bro bza' Byang chub was known as "Khri rgyal btsan mo" before her ordination (Ne'u Pandita 2005 ed. p. 26). 

The ordination of "empress" 'Bro and her efforts to propagate [chinese] buddhism are also mentioned in Chinese documentation (see Demiéville 1952 p. 25-33).
