Possibly identical to the translator "'Gi 'um Yul byin" mentioned in the time of Khri gTsug lde brtsan (Ne'u Pandita 2005 ed. p. 28) ?
Klong chen chos 'byung (1991 ed. p. 304) mentions a translator "mGo bum sPru 'byin" in the time of Khri Srong lde brtsan, which may also refer to the same character (with a possible confusion between "spru" and "yu" in khyug yig or dbu med writing styles).
