In Hog year [687] 'bon Da rgyal khri zung, gNubs Mang nyen bzhi brtsan, and mGar sTa gu ri zung gathered in bZang sum tsal (ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 98-99). 

In Horse year [694] mGar sTa gu ri zung was seized by the Sog dag (i. e. Sogdians, ms. PT 1288-ITJ 750 l. 117).

mGar sTa gu ri zung was likely the son of mGar sTong rtsan yul zung called "Xiduoyu" in the Jiu Tangshu and the Xin Tangshu (transl. in Pelliot 1961 p. 7, 85).
