Biographical data 

Tshar long Khong brtan may have been a contemporary of various hardly identifiable characters mentioned in the doodles of the same document (ms. PT 1180): 

- nang po sTag sgra (a relatively common name, as in: Ngan lam sTag sgra klu gong, dBa's sTag sgra khong lod...)

- Yul gzung (faded) 

- nang rje po blon bTsan bzher (another quite common name, as in: Cog ro blon bTsan bzher lho gong, dBa's bTsan bzher mdo lod, see also a mChims bTsan bzher legs gzigs mentioned in dBa' bzhed 26a-30b - transl. Wangdu, Diemberger, Sørensen 2000, in Blon po bka' thang ch. 3...) 

- Mang kong 

- blon mDo bzang 

- nang rje pho blon sTag gzigs (again, a rather common name, see: a copyist named Wang sTag gzigs in ms. PT 1113, mentions of blon sTag gzigs in ms. PT 1104, PT 1295, PT 1861... see also "sTag zigs", as in: rNgegs blon sTag zigs rgan kol, Bam sTag zigs, etc.)
