Biographical data

The btsan po [Srong btsan sgam po] may have been Sad mar kar's brother (btsan po dral, ms. PT 1287 l. 401, 404, 406, 424, 425). She was thus possibly gNam ri slon mtshan and Tshes pong za 'Bring ma thog dgos's daughter, and bTsan srong's sister.

Lig myi rhya favoured his other consort, Shud ke za (lady) rTsal thing shags, over Sad mar kar (ms. PT 1287 l. 399-401).

While she was residing on the shore of the Ma phang lake, Sad mar kar received an envoy of her brother the btsan po [Srong brtsan sgam po ?] called sPug Gyim brtsan rmang cung (ms. PT 1287 l. 403-406).

Sad mar kar expressed her lament in a song (ms. PT 1287 l. 407-425).

Sad mar kar gave sPug Gyim brtsan rmang cung a message for the btsan po, calling for the destruction of Zhang zhung (ms. PT 1287 l. 425-427).
