Notes

According to Chinese sources :

- Qinling [i. e. mGar Khri 'bring btsan brod] was a son of Lun Dongzan [i. e. mGar sTong rtsan yul zung] (Jiu Tangshu and Xin Tangshutransl. Pelliot 1961 p. 7, 85)

- In 699, Qi nu xi long [i. e. Khri 'Dus srong] organised the massacre of 2.000 members and supporters of the mGar family in order to regain the control of the state. He then led an army against Qinling/Khri 'bring who commited suicide after being abandoned by his followers (Pelliot 1961 p. 11, 94).

- Qinling had a son named Mangbuzhi (most likely mGar Mang po rje stag rtsan) who fled to China after the downfall of the mGar family (Jiu Tangshu and Xin Tangshu transl. Pelliot 1961 p. 11, 94) also known as Lun Gongren (see Garatti 2015 p. 164, 167-171).
