Biographical data 

bTsan srong was Khri Srong btsan [sgam po]'s younger brother (ms. PT 1288 l. 8-9). 

Being Khri Srong btsan [sgam po]'s younger brother, bTsan srong was thus gNam ri slon mtshan's younger son. He may have been btsan mo Sad mar kar's brother and a son of Tshes pong za (lady) 'Bring thog dgos. 

bTsan srong seems to have opposed his brother Khri Srong btsan and may have died (in fire? ms. PT 1288 l. 8-9).
