Biographical data 

Srong brtsan sgam po's father was Slon btsan rlung nam (ms. PT 1286 l. 61-62). 

Srong brtsan sgam po's mother was Tshes pong za 'Bring ma thog dgos (ms. PT 1286 l. 61-62). 

Srong brtsan sgam po may have been btsan mo Sad mar kar's brother (btsan po dral, ms. PT 1287 l. 401). 

Srong brtsan sgam po's younger brother was bTsan srong (ms. PT 1288 l. 8). 

Srong brtsan sgam po's consort was Mong za Khri mo mnyen ldong steng (ms. PT 1286 l. 62-63). 

Srong brtsan sgam po's son and heir was Gung srong gung rtsan (ms. PT 1286 l. 62-63). 

When he was young, Srong brtsan sgam po had to face a revolt and his father gNam ri slon mtshan was poisoned (ms. PT 1287 l. 399-302). 

Srong brtsan sgam po's blon che (great ministers) were successively :

After Srong brtsan sgam po's death, his grandson Mang slon mang brtsan became btsan po (ms. PT 1288 l. 17-18).
