Notes

sPug Gyim tang rmang bu has to be distinguished from another character with a very similar name, sPug Gyim brtsan rmang cung, who lived in the time of Srong btsan sgam po. Since sPug Gyim tang rmang bu's line was apparently cut after he died, sPug Gyim brtsan rmang cung cannot be considered as his son (maybe a brother ?).

They probably have to be identified to two characters named by sGa ston tshul khrims rgyal mtshan in a list of twenty scholars (mkhas pa nyi shu) : lde bon Gyim tsha rma chung and lde bon Gyim tang rma bo (see sGa ston tshul khrims rgyal mtshan's bsTan pa'i shan 'byed 'phrul gyi me long, p. 29).
