Biographical data 

mNon Pang sum 'dron po was a son of mNon bZang to re (ms. PT 1287 l. 155-156). 

mNon Pang sum 'dron po belonged to dGu gri zin po rje's entourage (nang kor, ms. PT 1287 l. 155-156). 

After his father's death, mNon Pang sum 'dron po joined the conspiracy against dGu gri zing po rje initiated by Myang Tseng sku and dBa's dByi tshab (ms. PT 1287 l. 155-156). 

Together with dBa's Phangs to re dbyi tshab and Myang sMon to re tseng sku, mNon Pang sum 'dron po swore an oath of fealty to sTag bu snya gzig (ms. PT 1287 l. 159-163). 

After sTag bu snya gzigs's death, mNon 'Dron po, Myang Tseng sku, dBa's dByi tshab, dBa's Pu tshab, and Tshes pong Nag seng swore an oath of fealty to Slon mtshan and Slon kol (ms. PT 1287 l. 173-178).

mNon Pang sum 'dron po took part in the campaign against dGu gri zing po rje (ms. PT 1287 l. 236-237). 

During the campaign against dGu gri zing po rje, mNon Pang sum 'dron po and Myang Tseng sku were sent to sTag pa sha ru (? ms. PT 1287 l. 180-181). 

After the victory over dGu gri zing po rje, mNon Pang sum 'dron po was rewarded and received the 1500 servant families (bran khyim) from his own mNon siblings (pu nu po) and others (ms. PT 1287 l. 192-193, for a translation of these lines, see Hill 2010 p. 564 instead of Bacot, Thomas, Toussaint 1946 p. 138).
