Notes
The "khyi sha can" mentioned in the Old Tibetan Annals entry for the Dog year [734] is most likely a place name (see Dotson 2009 p. 119, the French translation is ambiguous see Bacot, Thomas, Toussaint 1946 p. 50). However, it has also been suggested that Khyi sha can could be a personnal name (See "Mongols and Khitans in a 14th century Tibetan Bonpo text" in Forty-five Years of Tibetan Studies : An Anthology of Articles by Per Kværne / Per Kvaerne. - Dharamsala : Amnye Machen Institute ; Oslo : The Institute for Comparative Research in Human Culture, 2015.
